Special Contest!

This blog will be holding the first contest! Anyone can enter, and the entries must be done by August 16. Here are the rules for the contest:
This is a story-writing contest. The story must be fictional, but can use real animals (with their permission).  The story must be at least 200 words (you can use Word to count the words). Please do not go off topic, and be creative!
I will choose the top 3 stories and post them for anyone to read. No bad words or inappropriate language or anything like that, or you will be disqualified. The top 3 winners will get a prize or gift....but I haven't decided. Feel free to give ideas for prizes!
Have fun with the stories! It will take a while, since I have to read allllllllll of the stories and judge them. Stories will be judged on creativity, length (not too long or too short), grammar, and not repeating the same words at the beginning of sentences, or in the whole story! Points will be out of 100. 50 for creativity, 10 for length, 30 for grammar, and 10 for repetition of words. Type it up in Word, or what you want, copy and paste it with email, and send it to me! HAVE FUN AND JAM ON!!!!

    P.S. NO PLAGIARISM!!

  2. So once a long time ago in Jamaa, the guides got together and came up with a plan the get rid of the phantoms. It was genius, fool-proof! Or so they thought. The guides surrounded the phantoms' lair. They chanted, "Phantoms begone, phantoms begone, go away and never come back!" But the phantom king came out of the rock and grabbed one of the guides! It dragged the guide down into the phantoms' lair. They heard a hideous shriek, and they knew he was now part phantom. They ran to make a plan the get him back!
They thought. And thought. And thought. Until they had a plan. It was so ridiculous that...It just might work. So they got phantom suits, and headed for the lair.
They entered the lair without arrousing suspicion. They located where their friend was being held and unlocked the door. They broke him out, and were out of the lair in no time. But he was still part phantom.
They went to Mira and pleaded she make him whole Jammer again. Finally, she granted their wish. On one condition. That they must live together and protect the jammers from the phantoms. But they must never, NEVER, try and get rid of them again. If they did that for long enough, jammers and phantoms could possibly, maybe, just become friends. And one day, they did. They became friends and lived together in harmony. Nobody ever had to worry about phantoms again. In fact, they became such good friends, that the phantoms would even put a show on for the jammers sometimes. It was an amazing show, if you were lucky enough to watch it. But you had to have at least three jammers sleep around the phantoms' lair. Only then would they come out and put on a spectacular show. It was AMAZING! So the jammers and the phantoms lived on and on in harmony and friendship.
    The End!

  9. Here I'll give a sneak peek! ;)

"The clouds blanketed the sky as the bright crescent moon was shunned by the thick grey. Cicadas mourned and the wind howled silently through the bushes and trees. As the clouds broke away the moons gleaming light crawled across the green, lush ground. Every blade of glass, covered in dew, sparkled. Every living soul in Jamaa was in deep slumber. All… except one. The great spirit of Mira, The mother of Jamaa, was always conscious. Looking after every animal in our peaceful land."

Don't worry! There will be action soon enough ;3

  11. Here is the rest! Sorry if it kinda drags out a bit. =3

The clouds blanketed the sky as the bright crescent moon was shunned by the thick grey. Looking after every animal in our peaceful land. The morning sun rose above the tops of the full, lush mountains. The chatter grew louder as more awoke and dwelled in this serene landscape. Every animal, big or small, enjoyed their tranquility in their small abode. Without notice, a thunderous roar echoed throughout the land. All eyes were directed to the heavens as a shroud of darkness covered the noon sky. Panic engulfed the young populace as many scrambled to find shelter from the doom that seemed to be present. Numerous odd, dark creatures descended down to the earth. The stage of fright was at its peak. Gloom, shadow and wrath obscured the vision of every living being. Many depended on the might of the great Mother of Jamaa to rid these sinister, immortal beings. All huddled in fear. A combustion of flames broke out on the homes of many. The screeches of horror ringed into Mira’s tranquil spirit. A cloak of smoke and glint raised from the burning coals of the Forest Fire. The clouded eyes of the population of Jamaa looked upwards to see the dark creatures were diminishing into the radiance of pure light pouring down from a part breaking through the murky clouds. The tragedy and calamity silenced. All minds were set in astonish and puzzlement. Slowly, one by one, every animal came out from their state of terror. The hearts of many began to rejoice! Although, the cause of end of the disaster was fogged by the merriment of all, soon the minds will come to know the strength of Mira’s will to guard over her land.

Locked up in dark, endless abyss the cold-hearted creature who wreaked much havoc upon the world above, remain forever livid of the god willpower of the powerful Mother of Jamaa. All the phantoms, as were named in legend, found one way that led up to a free world. Forgotten by the heroic Mira. They soon crept out into the dwelling of life once again… aimed at one very important, yet overlooked individual…

    To.....be continued....

I might not continue the story but i love a good cliff-hanger >=)

Here are the steps for commenting on my blog:
1. Do 10 jumping jacks. Right now. In front of your computer.
2. Yell: "MOM I FOUND A MONKEY EATING THE MUSTARD!"
3. Go to your sibling (or parent) and say: "I feel a disturbance in my socks."
4. Type your comment while dancing like a diseased maniac.
5. When your parent asks what the glob you are doing answer by saying: "The computer made me do it."
6. If you say anything bad, hate, or anything like that, then no more commenting for you. (Okay, this is the only step you can take seriously.)
7. If you love bacon, type at the end of your comment: P.S. to Feelers: Ich liebe Speck. [That means "I love bacon" in German.]
8. Jam On! :D
